About breathwork

Conscious and relaxed breathing is the key to physical and psychological well-being. In the course of life, most of us have developed restrictive breathing patterns due to injuries.

In integrative breathing therapy, we become aware of our own breathing patterns and we discover the underlying psychological structures.

Our old breathing structures can be relearned. By doing our breathing consciously, we affect our condition in a positive way. Our very own energetic personality unfolds again – powerfully and confidently.

Breath and anatomy

Did you know? Breathing is the only metabolic system in the body that we can influence and control through our will, while at the same time it automatically (and unconsciously) also ensures the exchange of oxygen.

We can consciously tap into our nerves / immune system with our breath. In breathing, we use this knowledge.

Breath and emotion

Each emotional and physiological event is associated with a corresponding, unconscious breathing pattern. In a relaxed, calm state, we breathe differently than when we are fearful and we breathe differently again when we are annoyed or angry. With each change in our state of mind, our breathing pattern changes unconsciously and automatically. Conscious breathing is the key to wellbeing.

Breathing therapy uses the elementary power of the breath as a healing instrument. Breath is life. We live by the breath until the last breath.

Competence

I have been accompanying people for over 30 years. I am an EMR and GPBA certified breathwork therapist. Hence, costs of my treatments are covered by the supplementary insurance of most health insurance companies.

It is important to me to accompany my clients in a respectful, non-judgmental and mindful manner.
